Class 6M – 3rd April 2020
Hello to my amazing 6M!
No more sleeps until the Easter holidays! Please continue to work through your packs today (Friday3/4). Remember to choose a maths activity to complete and focus on applying your English skills too – you might choose to complete a reading comprehension or use your amazing writing skills through your history work.
Why not do something creative today? You could write a poem, draw or paint something or even create something yummy in the kitchen! We’d love to see pictures of what you’ve been up to; you can send these to us by email. Thank you to those of you have have emailed us; we really do love hearing from you and finding out what you’ve been up to!
Please remember to keep active too and try to get out for a walk in the fresh air. Joe Wicks is continuing with his PE lessons this week. If dance is more your thing, why not put on one of your favourite songs and create your own dance routine! Alternatively, you could try some yoga or meditation.
I’m sure many of you are missing your favourite lessons at school. Below I have included a link to a fantastic home learning maths lesson with Gareth Metcalfe which I know some of you have enjoyed participating in. Gareth is a Primary Maths consultant and has recorded some online problem solving session which will keep your maths brains occupied for hours. Below this, I have also added a link to Maddie Moate’s youtube channel who has been completing a daily Science session which i’m sure you will enjoying exploring as well. Please do record these in your scrapbooks so we can see how hard you have been working.
…And finally for some reading. Please remember to read your book regualrly throughout the day – this is a great way to relax as well as getting some inspiration for writing. We also all love being read to and David Walliams is reading diffferent stories online each day too.
Have a wonderful Easter holiday! I hope the Easter bunny isn’t affected by social distancing!
We’re missing you all lots,
Miss Revill and Miss Maxwell
