Reading at Marlborough

We are very passionate about reading at Marlborough and would love you to help nuture a love of books with your child throughout their childhood. Reading is a fundamental skill that helps children to achieve their very best in subjects, yet if your child doesn't enjoy reading - it becomes a chore and unenjoyable for parents or children.

The MOST important thing you can do is continue to read to your child - no matter how old they are! You are their role model and greatest teacher! This article shares some great research about continuing to read with your child: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/education-24116088
