How much pupil premium funding you received for this academic year

Details of the main barriers to educational achievement that the disadvantaged children in your school face

Pupil Premium funding is additional funding which is allocated to local authorities and schools for pupils that are known to have been eligible for Free School Meals at any time in the last 6 years.  Whilst all infant pupils are now entitled to free school meals, parents must still register for free school meals with the Local Authority to enable the school to claim additional Pupil Premium funding to support individual pupils needs. Click HERE to check if you are eligible and to register.  Pupils Premium funding is also allocated for Looked After Children and Services Children.

Schools have the freedom to spend Pupil Premium funding, which is additional to the underlying schools budget, in a way that they think will best support the needs of the these pupils.  There is an expectation that funding will be used to raise the attainment of these pupils.

Please see the attached reports to see how our Pupil Premium funding has been used.  The impact of this funding is analysed annually and is also shown on the report when it is available.
